Tuesday 16 March 2021 Food For Stafford Families As schools close for the Easter break, many families in our local area will worry about feeding their children. Government support available in the current cirumstances simply isn't enough to support our most vulnerable. There are also many families who aren't eligible for free school meals who are struggling and in need of support. As a community, we can ease this worry during these difficult times.Child poverty figures show that over 25% of children in Stafford are living in poverty. During the Easter holiday, food and basic supplies will be delivered to their doorstep to help those in most need in our community. They simply have to contact Food For Stafford Families and a package will be delivered. All money raised through this campaign will go towards providing these food packages to those who need them over the Easter holiday. Please give what you can to support those most in need.
